Officials from Mongyang Township Department of Rural Development inspected the completion of the developmental works in Monglwe village, Mongyang Township, Shan State (East) on 18 December.
The officials inspected a concrete road construction and making a fence in the village. They then urged the villagers and members of village development committee to maintain the developmental works.
The road measuring 300 ft in length, 12 ft in width and six inches in volume and a fence measuring 120 ft in length and 5 ft in height are conducted with K 15 million funded by VDP and K 1 million contributed by local people. The projects were implemented starting from fourth week of September and now all have been completed by hundred percent. It will bring socioeconomic development to 1015 people from 157 households, according to an official from the department.
