Hinthada, August 24
Family units who were evacuated from the homes due to Ayeyarwady river bank erosion were provided financial assistance in Sitgone and Eitpyat village-tracts in Hinthada township, Ayeyarwady region yesterday.
Officials from the District General Administration Departent and the District Disaster Management Department went to the affected villages and provided 90 victims from 27 family units with K 2.7 million for buying construction materials and K 189000 for buying rice for a week’s consumption.—Kyaw Kyaw (IPRD)
