Arrivals of local and foreign travelers to the Ngwehsaung Beach in Ayeyawady Region has risen significantly when compared to previous year as the pristine coast became famous among visitors at home and abroad.
More than 176,000 travellers visited Ngwehsaung Beach during the period from January to October this year, up by 31 percent (about 40,000) when compared to the same period last year. In 2018, Ngwehsaung Beach welcomed over 134,000 visitors, according to U Soe Win, Assistant Director of the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism.
