VP U Myint Swe, Vietnamese Deputy PM discuss bilateral cooperation

U Myint Swe, Vice President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar held bilateral talks with Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue, Deputy Prime Minister and Member of the Politburo Committee of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam at the Presidential Palace in Nay Pyi Taw on 17 June 2019 at 2:00 p.m.

At the meeting, Vice President U Myint Swe and Deputy Prime Minister of Viet Nam Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue cordially discussed matters on promoting bilateral relations and cooperation, cooperation in various sectors such as trade, investment, agriculture, telecommunications, construction, energy, transportation, banking and security for the mutual benefit of the two countries.

Present at the meeting were U Kyaw Tin, Union Minister for International Cooperation, Deputy Ministers U Tin Myint, U Hla Kyaw, U Thar Oo, U Aung Htoo, U Maung Maung Win, U Soe Aung and Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar U Soe Thein, Permanent Secretaries of the ministries and Senior Officials from the respective Ministries, and Deputy Ministers and Senior Officials from concerned Ministries of Viet Nam.—MNA
