Tharawady 11 September
Torrential downpours hit Tharawady Township, Bago Region and caused the water level in Thonese Creek to rise this morning. As a consequence, water entered into seven wards along the creek in the township.

Water that entered into low-lying areas in East and West Thabyegone Wards also rose up to four feet. Therefore, Township authorities temporarily evacuated 130 people from 39 households to their relatives’ houses.
