Officials from State Department of Rural Development inspected the water supply projects undertaking in Mawchi Region, Hpaswang Township, Bawlakhe District, Kayah State yesterday.
The water supply projects are being undertaken with K 1027.359 million allocated by State Government’s development funds in 2019-2020 FY.
With the aim of solving the water scarcity in Mawchi and Lokhalo, water supply projects are being implemented in the areas. The officials inspected the construction of a water storage tank and a brick reservoir and responsible people from the construction company clarified the salient points of the project. The officials then urged the responsible people to ensure occupational safety and meet the set standard within the deadline.
