Water supply projects to be implemented in Yenangyaung Tsp.

With the aim of providing enough drinking water to rural people in all seasons, the Department of Rural Development will be undertaken rural water supply projects in four villages in Yenangyaung Township, Magway Region in 2020-2021 FY.

 

Digging a 700 ft deep tube well and construction of a water plant and a water tanker capable of storing 2400 gallons of water will be implemented in Gwekone village. In Wetgaung village, a 1000 deep tube well, a water plant and a water tanker capable of storing 2400 gallons of water will be conducted. In addition, a water tanker capable of storing 2400 gallons of water will be constructed in Sargi village and repair of earthen lake in Bukone village will be conducted. The rural water supply projects will be undertaken with K 77.2 million allocated by funds of the Department of Rural Development.

 

Upon completion, a total of 3321 local residents in the villages will be available enough drinking water in all seasons.
