With the aim of distributing drinking water to rural areas in all seasons, water supply projects are being implemented in 30 villages in Tachileik, Mongphyat and Mongyaung Township in 2019-2020 FY and now all the projects have been completed, according to Tachileik District Department of Rural Development.
A total of 24 water supply projects were undertaken with K 300.74 million allocated by funds of Union and K 286.53 million allocated by funds of State Government starting from January. In Tachileik District, a total of 28 water supply projects were implemented with K 637.29 million in 2018-2019 FY.
