With the aim of distributing purified drinking water in Mongkaing Township, Loilem District, Shan State (South), water supply system will be conducted with funds of Shan State Government during 2020-2021 FY, according to Township Department of Rural Development.
The water supply project such as installation of water pipeline, construction water tankers and water treatment plants will be implemented in Panpwe, Khaingnae, Lonson, Konepaung and Loiywe villages in the township.
The projects will be undertaken with over K 140 million by tender winning companies. Upon completion, a total of 3461 local residents from 605 households will be available enough drinking water in all seasons.
