Weapons, drugs seized in police raid in Thanbyuzayet

The police confiscated weapons and drugs from four men in a raid in Thanbyuzayet Township, Mon State on Saturday.

A joint squad from Thanbyuzayet Myoma police station raided a motorcycle repair shop in Panga Village at about 3:30 p.m. on 5 January. They found four men identified as Lahe, Maung Min, Zaw Lin Tun and Aung Min Oo and discovered a ball-pen gun, three bullets, 12 stimulant tablets, Ks. 11,000, 0.2 grams of crystal methamphetamine (ICE) and three motorbikes in the shop.

Action has been taken against the four men aged 14 to 31 under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law by the local police station.—Kyaw Kyaw (Mahlaing)
