An event to donate 112 sacks of rice to the township level COVID-19 response committee by World Food Programme (WFP) was held at the meeting room of the township administrator in Mohnyin, Kachin State yesterday.
On the occasion, an official from the WFP handed over rice bags to the chairman of township level COVID-19 response committee U Kyaw Hsan Oo who pledged to distribute the food supplies to facility quarantine centers in the villages across the township.
Also present on the occasion were Assistant Surveyor U Nan Aug Dee and staff from the WFP, and members of the township level COVID-19 response committee.
