The final match of the region women’s Sports Federation Patron’s cup inter-Township U-18 women’s football took place in conjunction with prize awarding event at the District Football Ground in the town of Magway, Magway Region yesterday evening.
In the final game, the team representing Yenangyaung beat the squad representing Sinbaungwe and was crowned the champion trophy.
Next, the awarding ceremony was held and the region Chief Minister and officials presented prizes and cash awards to the best players and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd winning teams respectively.—Ko Aung (IPRD)
