A workshop on ASEAN Framework Action Plan on Rural Development and Poverty Eradication Work Plan 2021-2025 was held at the Horizon Lake View Re-sort Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the workshop, the data on the strategy for drawing up the ASEAN Framework Action Plan on Rural Development and Poverty Eradication Work Plan 2021-2025 was thoroughly reviewed and discussed.
The workshop also dis-cussed matters related to achievements in the ASE-AN rural development and poverty eradication processes, ways of cooperation with partner organizations, and importance of cooperation among the government organizations, rural organizations and civil societies in implementing the ASEAN Framework Action Plan on Rural Development and Poverty Eradication 2016-2020. Moreover, the workshop attendees dis-cussed, in groups, matters related to the important role of women and youths in reducing poverty, and solutions to poverty, inequality, food security and climate change challenges.
They also discussed main procedures, goals, challenges, obstacles and important sectors for drawing up the ASEAN Framework Action Plan on Rural Development and Poverty Eradication Work Plan 2021-2025, reviews on it and suggestions.
