IN accord with guidance of the President, Myanma Railways of the Ministry of Transport will operate the Yangon-Mandalay-Yangon route with modern DEMU passenger air-conditioned express trains No 5/No 6 from 1 May, under the following schedule: -

The stations along the Yangon-Mandalay-Yangon route are Toegyounggale, Bago, Nyaunglebin, Toungoo, Pyinmana, Nay Pyi Taw, Yamethin, Thazi, and Kyaukse.

T1

The fare for the upper class is K48,000 and for the first class K34,000.

The modern air-conditioned DEMU passenger express train No 31 Up/No 32 Down will run on the Yangon-Nay Pyi Taw-Yangon route as per the following schedule.

It will stop over at Toegyounggale, Bago, DaikU, Toungoo, and Pyinmana stations along the route, and the fares will remain the same.

T2

The No 7 Up/No 8 Down air-conditioned modern DEMU passenger express train will run on the Yangon - Nay Pyi Taw - Yangon route as per the schedule below. It will stop at Toegyounggale, Bago, Pyu, Toungoo, and Pyinmana stations along the route, and the fares will remain the same.

T3

No 5 Up/No 6 Down DEMU passenger express trains are running on the Yangon-Mandalay-Yangon route and No 31 Up/No 32 Down on the Yangon-Nay Pyi Taw-Yangon route. Seat tickets for No 7 Up/No 8 Down air-conditioned DEMU passenger express trains can be purchased through the Online Railways Ticketing and Payment (ORTP) System.

As the number of train passengers increases, Myanma Railways will expand train routes and connect additional trains to provide convenient travel for rail passengers. — MNA/MKKS
