Yangon-Okkan RBE train to reopen from 1 July

THE RBE up and down trains operating between Yangon and Okkan will resume their operations starting from 1 July as the same schedules before, according to Myanma Railways (MR). 


The RBE down-66 train will leave Oakkan railway station at 6 am and arrive at Yangon railway station at 9:35 am. 


The RBE up-65 train will leave Yangon Central Railway Station at 4:30 pm and arrive at Okkan railway station at 8:10 pm. 


The ticket fare for the train is K600 per person from Yangon to Okkan as usual, according to MR. 


Before the coronavirus period, the Yangon-Okkan RBE train carried about 1,000 passengers daily. With the resuming of the Yangon-Okkan RBE train, the schedule of the circular train (B3/4) and Yangon-Insein (Q-2) train has changed their timetables a little bit. The detailed schedule of the train will be announced at the relevant railway stations, according to MR.
