The Yangon Region Command donated medical equipment and nutritious food to the Women and Children’s Hospital (500-bed) in Ward-10, North Okkalapa Township on 7 May.
Also present on the occasion were Commander of the Yangon Command Maj-Gen Thet Pone, Lt-Col Lin Naing Myint from Yangon Military Station, military officers, Medical Superintendent Dr. Win Maw Oo and medical staff. The commander of the Yangon Region Command delivered an opening address and explained the purpose of donation.
Next, the commander and military officers donated 200 personal protective equipment suits, 1,000 facemasks, 500 eggs, 350 packs of yogurt, and 12 packets of tea to the hospital through concerned officials.—Nay Htet Aung
