The Yangon Region Gold Entrepreneurs Association (YGEA) will offer a gold training for free at its office at No 42/50 on Shwebontha Street, Pabedan Township between 1 and 10 March.
Additionally, an awareness course (12th Batch) of anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) will be opened as well.
The respective experts will share education and knowledge about gold mining, gold refining, gold trading, opening gold shops and refinery, gold mortgage, gold rate calculation, gold/silver coins and jewellery items.
Those enthusiastic can take out enrollment forms free of charge at the office of the association.

The precious metal dealers’ licences can be sought only with the completion certificate of the AML/CFT course, according to the directive (2/2022) in accord with the Section 3 (G) of the Chapter 2 issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Central Body on Anti-Money Laundering.
The YGEA handed over 21 applications for precious metal dealers’ licences to the registration board in Pabedan, Lanmadaw and Latha townships on 1 April.
