The Yangon Region Gold Entrepreneurs Association (YGEA) will offer a gold train­ing for free at its office at No 42/50 on Shwebontha Street, Pabedan Township between 1 and 10 March.

 

Additionally, an aware­ness course (12th Batch) of anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) will be opened as well.

 

The respective experts will share education and knowledge about gold min­ing, gold refining, gold trad­ing, opening gold shops and refinery, gold mortgage, gold rate calculation, gold/silver coins and jewellery items.

 

Those enthusiastic can take out enrollment forms free of charge at the office of the association.

The precious metal deal­ers’ licences can be sought only with the completion certificate of the AML/CFT course, according to the di­rective (2/2022) in accord with the Section 3 (G) of the Chap­ter 2 issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Central Body on Anti-Money Laundering.

 

The YGEA handed over 21 applications for precious metal dealers’ licences to the registration board in Pabe­dan, Lanmadaw and Latha townships on 1 April.
