The Youth and Literary Fine Arts Festival, commemorating the 76th Independence Day, entered its second day on Thursday, with government employees, teachers, students, youths, and people across the nation joyfully participating in the event.
The students and young people were interested in the booths of ministries concerned and technological universities as they featured Electronic Vehicle maintenance, practical servicing, quiz, simulator to test EVs, issuance of smart cards to citizens aged above 10, cybersecurity, ethics to follow in using the internet, smartphone security tips and wireless network security, E-sports and Myanmar traditional puppet show and portrait painting services.
Similarly, the bookshops were crowded with students, youths and book lovers.
The festival also showcased photos of the “Beautiful and Pleasant Myanmar” photo contest, pictures of senior Myanmar writers of 20th century, and stunning places across the country, including the traditional festivals.
Moreover, the festival became more dynamic for its special entertainment programmes, and MRTV also arranged a news studio where people could read news like newscasters and take photos.
The event also included the displays of Nay Pyi Taw Police Force, fun fair games, quizzes, and food stalls for ethnic people.
The healthcare service was also provided in case of emergency health problems.
More than 10,000 people, including students, visited on the second day of the festival, whereas the bookshops sold over K2.7 million of books, and the ethnic food stalls earned over K14 million. – Than Min Aung/Aung Ye Thwin/KTZH
