Myanmar team prepares for int’l friendly matches in India

Myanmar national team has started training for the inter­national friendly matches to be played in India from 22 to 28 March.

 

The new Myanmar national team head coach, Feichtenbein­er, has selected 25 players for the tournament, and they have been practising since the evening of 18 March.

 

The Myanmar national team previously selected 24 players, but Shan United’s at­tacking midfielder Myat Kaung Khant was chosen as a rein­forcement.

 

Head coach Feichtenbein­er, Assistant Coaches Lorenz, U Myo Hlaing Win, U Zaw Win Htun, U Maung Maung Myint, Goal Coaches Mike Andrey, and U Ko Ko Aung will handle the team during the training trip.

 

Goalkeepers Kyaw Zin Phyo, San Satt Naing, and Pyae Phyo Thu, defenders Hein Phyo Win, Nanda Kyaw, Hein Thiha Zaw, Ye Min Thu, Zwe Min Khant, Thet Hein Soe, Hein Zeyyar Lin, Thi­ha Htet Aung, midfielders Wai Lin Aung, Yan Naing Oo, Zaw Win Thein, Kyaw Min Oo, Lin Htet Soe, Myat Kaung Khant, Lwin Moe Aung, Maung Maung Lin, Hein Htet Aung, and Nyein Chan Aung, forward players Win Naing Tun, Aung Kaung Marn, Than Paing, and Aung Thu are included in the Myanmar squad.

 

Team Myanmar will play friendly matches against Kyr­gyzstan on 22 March, and India team on 25 March. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
