With the aim of ensuring transport services in the villages, the Township Development Committee is implementing upgrading of concrete road in Lekaing Village in Pwintbyu Township of Magway Region with a spending of the 2024-2025 financial year’s the region government funds. So far, the road project in the village is completed 50 percent.

Concrete paving works on the road measuring 400 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and six inches in volume have been initiated since July 25 this year with K 12 million and all the projects have been completed 50 percent.

Officials from the Township Development Committee and members of village road development committee inspected the road on July 29 and gave necessary instructions to responsible officials.

With the aim of boosting the socio-economic status of local people in Pwintbyu Township, the Township Development Committee will implement six concrete roads, including concrete paving work of road in Lekaing Village, in the Township with a spending of K 102.7 million in this fiscal year, according to U Lin Min Nyunt, Executive Officer of the Township Development Committee.—U Hlai Win Lay
