THE junior golf tournament started on 18 February, aiming to polish the quality of junior players to be international-level players, according to the Myanmar Golf Federation.
The opening was held on 18 February morning at the Yangon Golf Club (Danyingon).
It is a three-day event from 18 to 20 February, and 32 players will play.
It is organized by MGF and mainly sponsored by Sae Paing Development Ltd and Phyo Si Thu Teak Plantation (Myanmar). MGF’s patron, U Aung Kyi, chairman U Ko Ko Aye, joint general secretary and Junior Golf Myanmar chair U Aung Ko Zaw, MGF joint general secretary and JGM secretary U Tin Maung Maung Win and JGM joint secretary, U Chit Swe, opened it by striking the ball in turn.
