            Yaeboke Dam in Htilon village-tract, Hlaingbwe Township, Hpa-an District, Kayin State  has been distributing irrigation water for summer crops since December 15, according to Township Irrigation and Water Utilization Management Department.

            Irrigation water from the Yaeboke Dam's main canal is being distributed to 1,468 acres in Htilon, Thapuhto, Naungthange, Thamban and Ywartharaye villages to ensure the timely cultivation of summer crops.

Yaeboke Dam measuring 46 ft in height, 17,720 ft in length and 2,534 acres in width has been completed in 2013-2014 FY. It has a canal measuring 6.25 miles in length, six drainages measuring 15.52 miles and 21 direct irrigation channels and all of which are supplying water to the farmlands. All the local farmers rely on this irrigation water for their summer crops.
