A ceremony to provide financial assistance to students was held this morning at the multipurpose hall of Hakha University.

The support was granted by the Chin State Government to undergraduate day-course students enrolled in the 2025–2026 academic year, as well as to basic education students who are children of the university’s teaching and administrative staff.

At the ceremony, Dr New Thin Ni, Pro-Rector of Hakha University, delivered an address and presented the financial assistance. A student representative, on behalf of the beneficiaries, and a staff member, representing children of the staff, expressed their gratitude.

During the event, 21 university students each received K300,000, while 28 basic education students—children of university staff—each received K50,000. —MNA
