THE Myanmar Tourism Federation (MTF) will hold roadshows in major cities in India to showcase Myanmar’s tourist destinations, the federation stated.

The events aim to promote Myanmar’s tourism industry in the Indian tourism market and make Myanmar’s destinations more attractive to Indian tourists.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Myanmar Tourism Federation and Aerionyx Global Representations on 8 May to promote Myanmar’s destinations in major Indian cities.

Under the agreement, Aerionyx Global Representations will act as the official representative of the Myanmar Tourism Federation by providing information and insights on tourism markets. In addition, the two organizations will jointly conduct digital marketing activities, public relations activities, skills development training and B2B meetings.

Such tourism cooperation between Myanmar and India will also help Myanmar’s tourism industry gain greater visibility in the Indian tourism market and contribute to the sustainable development of tourism.

The Myanmar Tourism Federation will also organize road exhibitions annually in three to five major cities in India to promote Myanmar’s tourist destinations. — ASH/MKKS
