THE Myanmar Press Council’s Media Development Committee will conduct the Media Training Course 7/2026 from 18 to 22 May at the Myanmar Press Council office in Botahtaung Township.

Members and experts from the Myanmar Press Council, to­gether with external specialists, will serve as instructors for the course. The training sessions will be conducted daily from 10 am to 3 pm.

During the course, U Khin Maung Aye (KMA) will lecture on media literacy, U Tin Maung Oo on media and the qualities of a good journalist, U Khin Maung Zaw on media and international affairs, U Maung Maung Myint Thein on news translation, U Thiha Baw Zan on digital liter­acy, a representative from the Copyright and Registration Department on printing, pub­lishing and media law, U Khin Maung Kyaw Din on media and Myanmar’s image, and a rep­resentative from the Myanmar National Human Rights Com­mission on media and human rights. — ASH/KNN
