THE leaflet distribution campaign for awareness of full percentage school enrolment at the basic education schools within school enrolment week was conducted at the junction of Naryisin, Nwekhway Ward junction and Pantin Road traffic light along the Yangon-Pyay Road in Gyobingauk Township, Bago Region, yesterday.
The awareness leaflet includes the motto for the 2026- 2027 academic year school enrollment campaign: “Let’s Enroll All School-Age Children for Sustainable Development of the Country,” and announcements, instructions to be followed during school enrolment, notices for children who are unable to attend school for various reasons, information for students who have passed Grade 9 and Grade 12, and lists of the free education system provided by the State for primary, middle, and high school students in the 2026-2027 academic year.
The township administrative department staff, teachers from the education department, staff from the Information and Public Relations Department, members of the township Maternal and Child Welfare Association, and members of the township Women’s Affairs Organization distributed leaflets to locals and conducted awareness-raising activities for the school enrolment week. — Maung Shwe Win (Pyay)/KTZH
