UNION Minister for Indus­try and MSME Development Dr Charlie Than yesterday inspected the step-by-step production processes of kon­jac-based beverages, konjac jelly, and dried konjac noo­dles at Shwe Oo Konjac Food Business in Nganzat Village, Ottarathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory.

During the inspection, he instructed that, as a food production business, the company must strictly follow Good Manufacturing Prac­tices (GMP) guidelines and that stronger links should be established between ex­perts conducting research and MSME entrepreneurs to facilitate manufacturing operations.

Afterwards, the Union minister inspected an ongo­ing training session on im­plementing best practices for MSME success, held at Office No 30, as well as the produc­tion of bamboo chopsticks at Mr Bamboo High-Quality dis­posable bamboo chopsticks factory in Ottarathiri Town­ship. — MNA/TH
