GROUP-STAGE matches of the 2026 Inter-State and Region U18 Men’s Football Tournament continued yesterday afternoon at four venues across Myanmar, attracting strong support from football fans and departmental officials.
Matches were held at Zwegabin Stadium in Hpa-an, the State Stadium in Taunggyi, the Sports Garden Stadium in Bago, and Koethein Stadium in Pathein under a four-zone format.
In the day’s fixtures, which kicked off at 3 pm yesterday, Kayin State drew 1-1 with Yangon Region at Zwegabin Stadium, while the Chin State team drew 1-1 with the Nay Pyi Taw Territory in Bago.
At Taunggyi State Stadium, Shan State secured a 5-0 victory over Kayah State. — MNA/MKKS
