Dala, June 4

Officials from the Township Rural Development Department in Dala Township, Yangon Region, recently inspected the completion of a concrete road paving project in Bo Phyu Chaung Village under the Government's 100-Day Plan for the 2026–2027 fiscal year.

The project involved paving a school access road measuring 380 feet in length, 8 feet in width, and 6 inches in thickness. During the inspection, Staff Officer Daw San Chaw Chaw Khin and departmental engineers examined the completed road and met with village development committee members and local elders to discuss its long-term maintenance.

Implemented by local residents with technical support from the Township Rural Development Department, the project was funded through K15 million from the Village Development Project (VDP) fund and K3 million in public contributions, bringing the total cost to K18 million.

The road has now been completed in full, improving year-round transportation for villagers and facilitating easier access to education services.—Maung Khaing
