THE opening ceremony of the Traditional Myanma Lethwei Coach Training Course (Basic) 1/2026, organized by the Ministry of Sports and the Traditional Myanma Lethwei Federation was held at 9 am yesterday at the Theinbyu Traditional Myanma Lethwei Competition Hall, Mingala Taungnyunt Township, Yangon.
Vice-President U Win Zin Oo of the Traditional Myanma Lethwei Federation first delivered an opening speech, and the participating coach trainees introduced themselves, respectively.
Myanmar Traditional Lethwei Executive U Wunna clarified the coaching ethics and experiences.
A total of 30 traditional Myanma Lethwei coaches from clubs in Yangon, Mandalay and Bago Regions reportedly attended the coaching course, and the training will last for five days. — Bala/MKKS
