NATIONAL Security Adviser and Union Minister for the Ministry of the President’s Office U Tin Aung San received BIMSTEC Secretary-General Mr Indra Mani Pandey yesterday morning at the reception hall of the Ministry of the President’s Office.
During the meeting, the two sides openly exchanged views on matters relating to food and energy security among BIMSTEC member states, maritime security and joint training exercises, and the expansion of multi-sectoral cooperation for development.
Officials from the Ministry of the President’s Office and the BIMSTEC Secretariat also attended the meeting. — MNA
