THE Mandalay Zone qualifiers of the MFF-Royal D U15 League 2026, organized by the Myanmar Football Federation with Royal-D as the main sponsor, concluded successfully after three days of competition from 19 to 21 June, producing the eight teams that will compete in the second-round group stage.
In the final qualifying round, Bawgabala FC, Warm FC, Naypyitaw United FC and GE Mahar FC battled for the remaining place, with Bawgabala FC emerging as the successful side to secure progression.
Following the completion of the qualifiers, eight Mandalay Zone teams have confirmed their places in the second round: STNM FC, Shwe Pay Leik FC, Sparrow FC, Anisakhan FC, Youth Soccer Future FC, Sagaing United FC, MFF Academy (Mandalay) U-14 and Bawgabala FC.
The Mandalay Zone group stage will be held from the first week of August until December on a home-and-away basis. After all zonal competitions conclude, the top eight teams nationwide with the highest points will qualify for the Grand Final tournament to compete for the championship title.
The Myanmar Football Federation said competition schedules and further details for the remaining Taunggyi and Mawlamyine zones will be announced in due course. — TWA/KZL
