THE 2026-2027 Myanmar Women’s League, organized by the Myanmar Football Federation and Myanmar Na­tional League with main sponsorship from Max Energy continued matchday 2 from 22 to 24 June, where defending champions Ayeyawady maintained the top position on goal difference.

 

In matchday 2 fixtures, Ay­eyawady defeated Young Lionesses 3-0, ISPE FC beat Zwekapin Unit­ed 3-0, Yadanabon won 6-0 against Yangon City, Yangon United defeated Myawady 2-1, while Thitsa Arman and Shan United played out a 1-1 draw.

 

Player of the match awards (AYA Pay Player of the match) were given to San Thaw Thaw (Ayeyawady), Mimi Zin (ISPE), Zin Moe Pyae (Yangon United), Win Theingi Tun (Yadana­bon), and Win Win (Thitsa Arman), each receiving a trophy and K500,000 in prize money.

 

After matchday 2, Ayeyawady, ISPE, and Yangon United all have six points each. Ayeyawady lead the table on goal difference. They are followed by Yadanabon, Zwekapin United, and Young Lionesses with three points each, Shan United and Thitsa Arman with one point each, while Myawady and Yangon City remain without points after losing both matches. — Ko San/ KZL
