UNION Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Soe Win received Mr Barnaby Jones, Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Myanmar, at the Ministry’s meeting hall yesterday afternoon.
They discussed UNHCR assistance, the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry and UNHCR, and future cooperation.
The meeting was attended by the director-general, the deputy permanent secretary, relevant officials and representatives from the UNHCR office. — MNA/MKKS
