YADANABON Women’s Football Club has officially confirmed that 16-year-old youngster Pin Myint Yan has become the club’s youngest-ever goal scorer in its history during the Myanmar Women’s League.

 

The record was set on 23 June in a Matchday 2 fixture against Yangon City FC, where Yadanabon secured a 6-0 victory. Pin Myint Yan scored the fifth goal of the match, helping her team secure a dominant win.

 

At the time of scoring, she was 16 years, eight months, and 22 days old, making her the youngest player to score for the club.

 

Despite her age, she has already drawn atten­tion for her sharp attacking ability and promising performances. Football observers believe she could become one of the key rising stars in Myanmar women’s football in the coming years. — TWA/KZL
