THE Myanmar Red Cross Society and the Interna­tional Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) visited Mandalay and Sagaing re­gions on 29 June to moni­tor earthquake rehabilita­tion efforts, according to the Myanmar Red Cross Society.

 

The delegation vis­ited temporary shelters built by the Myanmar Red Cross Society in Balelba Village, TadaU Town­ship, Mandalay Region, and met families who had received cash assistance to repair homes damaged by the earthquake.

 

They also met Red Cross staff and volun­teers from district and township branches at the Mandalay Earthquake Response and Rehabil­itation Office (Sagaing Branch) in Sagaing to dis­cuss ongoing earthquake rehabilitation efforts. — ASH/MKKS
