AS part of the government’s policy to promote electric vehicles (EVs) and reduce environmental pollution, the Yaza Min bus line began operating electric buses in Nay Pyi Taw on 6 July to improve transport for residents and government employees.
The EV buses operate on the city’s main routes, running four return trips daily between the Myoma Market and Bawgathiri Bus Terminal. A flat fare of K1,000 is charged per passenger, regardless of travel distance. — ASH/KNN
