THE reference prices set for Yangon Region are K120,000 per 50-kilogramme bag of urea fertilizer (large granular) from 1 July to 31 August and K138,000 per bag of di-ammonium phosphate from 21 June to 31 August, according to Myanmar Fertilizer, Seed and Pesticide Entrepreneurs Association (MFSPEA).
Under the supervision of the Urea Fertilizer Purchase, Distribution and Sales Steering Committee, MFSPEA has already asked member companies to stick to the reference prices.
MFSPEA has not confirmed the reference price for Complex 15 fertilizer. The prices may vary a bit depending on transport charges in other regions and states, as the aforementioned prices are set for the Yangon Region.
