A man died of severe electric shock in a pilaf factory in Khayaung village, Hlegu township, Yangon region yesterday afternoon.
A factory worker named Saw Min, 42, tried to repair a water-pumping motor together with his co-worker, Hla Moe, without cutting off mains electricity supplied to the factory. He received massive electric shock and died on the spot. The dead body was transferred to a hospital in the town.
Police officers from Hlegu Myoma police station is undertaking an investigation into the case whether it was a foul play.—Naing Lin( Hlegu) Translated by Khine Thaw
