An explosion on Tuesday morning in central Jakarta has injured two Indonesian military personnel.
Police suspect a smoke grenade exploded shortly after 7:00 a.m. at the National Monument complex in a central park.
Local media quote a police spokesperson as saying the two injured military personnel were exercising at the time.
They are now being treated in hospital.
The park is a popular tourist destination featuring the National Monument, known as Monas, which symbolizes the country's independence.
The presidential palace and major government offices are nearby.
