An event to honor outstanding students who passed matriculation examination with distinctions was held at the meeting hall of No 1 Basic Education High School in Thongwa Township of Yangon Region this morning.

First of all, students from No. 2 B.E.H.S. sang a school song. Afterwards, Chairman of the Township Administration Body U Myo Min Aung delivered an opening speech. Next, Daw San San Htay, the Township Education Officer clarified the purpose of the presentation of awards for outstanding students.

This was followed by the presentation of honorary awards to outstanding students who passed the matriculation exam with good grades in 2023-2024 Academic year by officials.

Under this prize awarding program, a total of 17 students including one student who passed with three distinctions, one student who pass with two distinctions and 15 students who pass with one distinction received honorary awards respectively.
