An event to honor students who excelled in exam, schools which got high pass rate and teachers who made efforts to turn out those students in 2023-2024 Academic year’s matriculation examination was held at the Tayza hall of No. 1 Basic Education High School in Danubyu Township, Maubin District of Ayeyarwady Region this morning.

At the event, students from No. 1 B.E.H.S. performed and sang a school song. Afterwards, Chairman of the Township Administration Council and Township Administrator U Aye Ko Tint delivered an opening speech. Next, U Hla Htay, the Township Education officer clarified the purpose of the presentation of awards for outstanding students.

This was followed by the presentation of honorary awards and certificates of honor to outstanding students who passed with good grades, school that got high pass rate and teachers who made efforts to pass those students with distinctions in 2023-2024 Academic year.

U Aye Ko Tint, Chairman of the Township Administration Body, U Sein Maung Win, member-2 of the Township Administration Body, Police Superintendent Aung Naing Win, secretary of the Township Administration Body, Township level officials, well-wisher, teachers and students attended the event.—Aung Pyae Phyaw Zaw(IPRD)
