The Anti-Corruption Commis­sion and the Ministry of For­eign Affairs jointly organized an awareness seminar on anti-cor­ruption under the guidance of the State Administration Council Chairman in Nay Pyi Taw yes­terday.

 

During the event, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Min­ister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe briefed the audience the consequences of corruption, the importance of corruption-free public services and government institutions, and the formation of a Corruption Prevention Unit (CPU) for the ministry. Commis­sion Chairman U Sis Aye then talked about the corruption that affects the all-round development of the nation and the need for government employees to serve duties honestly.

 

Next, the attendees dis­cussed the anti-corruption meas­ures and their experiences with CPU members. — MNA/KTZH
