U Kyaw Zay Yar Lin, Myanmar Consul-General in Chongqing, met Mr Feng Bin, Deputy Mayor of the Leshan Municipal People’s Government at Leshan, Sichuan Province, on 9 August to discuss signing a Memorandum of Friendly and Cooperative Relationship between Bagan and Leshan in October 2024.
During the meeting, they also exchanged views on cooperation with Leshan Vocational and Technical Training College, the preservation of ancient cultural heritage in both Bagan and Leshan and the promotion of cultural exchange and tourism cooperation between the two cities. — ASH/TH
