Acting on a tip off, a combined team comprising members of the Kachin State police force raided the house of Min Tun in Ward-3 in Lamon Village in Tanai Township, Myitkyina District of Kachin State at about 11:00 am on March 12 and seized 4875 stimulant pills.
In a similar incident, a combined team stopped a motorbike driven by Ko Ko Htway in Winwine Ward in Monghsat Township of Shan State at 4:45 pm on March 12 and confiscated 200 stimulant tablets.
After making some interrogations, a combined team raided the house of Ko Ko Htway in Winwine Ward in Monghsat Township at 5:30 pm on the same day and seized 1600 stimulant pills in the house.
The offenders have been prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—MNA
