In order to stabilize commodity prices, essential foodstuffs were sold at lower prices for the convenience of the residents at the Mingalar Market in Kada Ward in the town of Paung, Mon State.

Under the supervision of the Township Administration Council, basic foodstuffs such as beef, pork, rice, edible oil and eggs were sold at lower prices than the local market prices at the Mingalar Market in Paung Township at 6:00 am on August 16.
