People and departmental per­sonnel donate foodstuffs daily to members of Tatmadaw and security forces who are serving the state’s defence and securi­ty duties with sacrifices on the frontline.

 

The Ministry of Transport and Communications donated K30 million worth of foodstuffs at the Nay Pyi Taw Command Headquarters on 7 August.

 

The Ministry of Labour also carried out the processing and packaging of foodstuffs with goodwill and loving-kindness for members of Tatmadaw and security forces on the frontline at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on 5 August. Union Minister U Myint Naung and Deputy Min­ister U Win Shein inspected the processes.

 

The ministry will distribute foodstuffs worth K13 million to members of Tatmadaw and se­curity forces on the frontline.

 

On 6 August, Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan and deputy minis­ters observed the food prepara­tion processes, and the ministry will donate K11.2 million worth of foodstuffs.

 

On the same day, the cer­emony to present cash awards and foodstuffs for members of Tatmadaw and security forces on the frontline was held in Da­wei of Taninthayi Region with the presence of region Chief Minister U Myat Ko and rele­vant officials.

 

Dawei District donated K12,940,000 and foodstuffs worth K24,131,300, totalling K37,071,300. Myeik District donated food­stuffs worth K23,005,540, while K11,183,000 worth of foodstuffs by Kawthoung District and K23,005,540 worth of foodstuffs by Bokpyin District.

 

On 5 August, Mandalay Re­gion Chief Minister U Myo Aung inspected the processing and packaging of foodstuffs donated by the well-wishers at the City Hall.

 

The donation included nine types of foodstuffs worth K31.2million.

On 6 August, Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein and relevant officials observed the processing and packaging of foodstuffs at the State govern­ment office.

 

The donation included foodstuffs and medicines worth K21,252,500.

 

The well-wishers and de­partmental staff also sent their messages of encouragement to Tatmadaw members and secu­rity forces. — MNA/KTZH
