ACCORDING to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Myanmar Ambassador U Aung Soe Win met with Dato Wira Louis Ng Chun Hau, Chairman of Pub­lic Gold and President of the Malaysia Gold Association, on 12 November at Menara Public Gold, the headquarters of Public Gold, in Kuala Lum­pur, Malaysia. They discussed potential opportunities for co­operation in gold trade and investment.

During the visit, Ambas­sador U Aung Soe Win toured an exhibition featuring an ex­tensive collection of gold bars, coins, and jewellery, as well as gold ATMs and a gold safe facility, which operates as a gold savings bank.

In the meeting, Ambas­sador U Aung Soe Win and Dato Wira Louis Ng Chun Hau exchanged tokens of appreci­ation. They held productive discussions on possible collab­oration in the gold industry’s trade and investment sectors. — ASH/TMT
