ACCORDING to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Myanmar Ambassador U Aung Soe Win met with Dato Wira Louis Ng Chun Hau, Chairman of Public Gold and President of the Malaysia Gold Association, on 12 November at Menara Public Gold, the headquarters of Public Gold, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They discussed potential opportunities for cooperation in gold trade and investment.
During the visit, Ambassador U Aung Soe Win toured an exhibition featuring an extensive collection of gold bars, coins, and jewellery, as well as gold ATMs and a gold safe facility, which operates as a gold savings bank.
In the meeting, Ambassador U Aung Soe Win and Dato Wira Louis Ng Chun Hau exchanged tokens of appreciation. They held productive discussions on possible collaboration in the gold industry’s trade and investment sectors. — ASH/TMT
