New business licences were approved at the first coordination meeting of the Kachin State Tourism Committee.

 

The Kachin State Tourism Com­mittee announced the approv­al of new business licences for regional tourism development during its coordination meeting 1/2024 on 4 September.

 

The meeting reviewed four applica­tions for hotel and inn licence renewals, five new hotel business licences, and three new lodging house licences, along with future plans for tourism growth.

 

A total of 78 guesthouse business licences and 64 tour company licences have been approved to reportedly sup­port the region’s tourism industry.

 

The Kachin State chief minister stressed the importance of analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of tour­ist destinations to ensure high-quality services in developing new regional at­tractions. — TWA/MKKS
